PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The VDEEN series Surface Mount Edge-Lit exit sign is the most popular and affordable Edge-Lit exit sign that we offer. Manufactred from aluminum and featuring a high-grade acrylic panel, the VDEEN series is a favorite choice of architects, lighting deisgners, and those looking to maintain or improve the interior aesthetic of their store, property, or other institution. The VDEEN series is easy to install and comes with instructions and hardware for top, side, or back surface mount installation onto all types of surfaces. A powerful battery backup provides a minimum 90 minutes of emergency support and a push-to-test battery button is standard. The VDEEN is offered in a white, black, or brushed aluminum housing for both single and double sided models.
EXTERNAL SPECIFICATIONS
The aluminum housing is offered in a brushed aluminum, black, or white finish. The exit panel is clear for single sided-models and features a high-grade reflective mylar insert for double-sided models. The panel is constructed of clear acrylic with beveled lettering for maximum light output. Exit letters are 6†high with a 3/4†stroke. Chevron directional indicators are included standard for in-field application.
INSTALLATION
Completely universal canopy provides for side, ceiling or flush surface mounting. All hardware is included.
ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The VDEEN series Edge-Lit exit sign is configured for standard operation with 120/277VAC dual voltage input. Current charge regulator is standard.
MECHANICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Brushed aluminum or white housing contains green LEDs, circuit board, transformer, and battery backup system.
BATTERY
The VDEEN series is supplied with a maintenance free, nickel-cadmium battery for emergency operation that provides a minimum 90 minutes of emergency operation. Recharge time of the battery is twenty-four (24) hours. The maximum working temperature is 50 C. A push button test switch allows maintenance personnel to quickly confirm the operational status of the emergency light.
DAMP LOCATION RATED
The vdeen series Edge-Lit exit signs come standard rated for damp location installations.
WARRANTY
The VDEEN comes from the factory with a 5-year product warranty against manufacturing defects. Lamps are not covered.
